The Raffles Gymnastics Academy’s vision is for a child to realize their dream of becoming a gymnast of tomorrow. The academy strives to realize the highest potential in every child. Their new, well-equipped and air-conditioned gymnasium is located in the affluent Upper Bukit Timah neighborhood. Raffles Gymnastics’ wide range of recreational and competitive programs adapts and changes with the times to keep up with the demands of tomorrow. Raffles employs overseas, qualified and experienced coaches to give their students a high standard of coaching. The Academy is strongly committed to developing good gymnasts and offers a rich variety of personalized training regimes to suit individual, schools’ and corporate needs.

Internship

This internship is designed specially by SSA Global for Raffles Gymnastics Academy. The internship takes place in Singapore, has a minimum length of 6 months, with a possibility of longer employment after internship period. As with our other internships, there is a monthly stipend of S$600 (500 USD) to take care of living necessities, such as food and transportation. This internship is designed to introduce aspiring young graduates to a new, exciting culture and work-environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Take care of daily gym operations, to ensure that the movement is well-coordinated.
  • Involve in coordination and support of various operations matters.
  • To ensure adherence to gymnasium guidelines, safety & security procedures.
  • Supervise and provide guidance & direction to a team of customer service officers, in order to achieve the highest levels of customer care.
  • Handles & process all enrolments / registrations.
  • In-charge of school fee collections
  • Handle and follow-up customers’ enquiries. Coordination and maintaining the updated records of all calls.
  • Serve as focal point of communication with customers and company personnel. To ensure operating and quality standards are met based on service objectives.
  • Handle and follow up on the progress of student affairs until closure. To escalate relevant issues to next level of support in a timely manner.
  • Provide constructive feedback and recognition to team.
  • To generate monthly statistics reports.
  • Take care of pro shop inventory control.
  • Assist in planning, organization and running of events.
  • To provide multi-supports to Head Coach.
  • Other ad hoc task as and when required.
